What to Expect

Compelling Word Bible Church is a church in its early stages. As the Lord allows, we hope to provide more ministries and programs to help believers grow in discipleship. Your involvement at this stage can be a vital part of serving the Body of Christ.

We would love to see you. When you come, you can expect to be served through the ministry of the Word, psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, prayer, fellowship, and much more!

Service

  • Services typically will last about 75–90 minutes
  • Sermons are about 20–30 minutes in length

  2. Psalm Reading — a chapter each service, sequentially
  3. Old Testament Reading — a chapter each service, sequentially
  4. New Testament Reading — a chapter each service, sequentially
  5. Prayer of Confession
  6. Scripture Passages of Assurance
  7. Pastoral Opening Prayer
  8. Song of Worship & Praise
  9. Question & Answer (catechism)
  10. Prayer for Others
  11. Sermon
  12. Closing Song of Worship & Praise
  13. Closing Prayer
  14. Benediction

Families worshiping together

Youth

At this stage, we do not offer separate youth programs or childcare, but children are welcome in the worship service because it is a blessing for families to worship together. We understand that children make age-appropriate sounds, and that is perfectly fine. If your child needs a little more space, you are welcome to use the lobby area.

Business-casual attire

Attire

Attire for services is typically what many people might consider to be business casual. However, there is no strict guideline. Feel free to dress in a manner that is comfortable and modest.
